Production Manager

A leading factual production company and a major international brand are seeking a Production Manager to start straight away.  You will have solid experience in broadcast factual documentary, branded content, short form, digital, promo or ads with a minimum of 2 years senior PM experience. 

 

You need to have strong leadership skills, be able to juggle multiple projects and work at speed to deliver to quick turnaround deadlines. You must have great knowledge of cost books and excel, excellent people management, and extensive experience running shoots in the UK and worldwide. 

You will be comfortable with:

 

  • Enforcing health and safety/data protection /respect at work/ NDAs/ holiday charts etc
  • Finance incl; credit cards, petty cash, expenses, cost books, invoicing, payroll, excel formulas, cost reports
  • Working with Coordinators to delegate call sheets, travel, permits and risk assessments
  • Shoot safety, insurance covers, legal rights, copyright issues and releases, workplace training, contracts
  • Working to secure and contract talent with talent bookers  
  • Creating schedules and populating cost books and writing small budgets
  • Negotiating, budgeting and managing with graphics, music and archive companies 
  • Supervising post production workflow with tech manager and edit team 
  • Good knowledge of post-production paperwork
  • Corporate client liaison in persona and via zoom-type calls
  • Be happy to work with clients requiring strict corporate safety rules and regulations
  • Additional knowledge of running live broadcast would be a plus

 

This role is partly remote but in the office minimum 2-3 days a week based in a major international brand office in Waterloo.
